What counts as one check?▾
One press of the button, on one draft, however many claims are in it. Re-checking a draft you have not edited counts as another check; it comes back faster, but it is not free.
Why not price by the word?▾
Because you would then be deciding what to leave out of the box, and the sentence you leave out is the one that gets you. Tools in this category cap a single check at 500 to 750 words. A paid check here takes 20,000 words in one go; the free tier is capped at 2,000 characters, which is a few paragraphs.
What does it cost you to run?▾
Under four cents a check at the very top of the range, and about three on a normal article. We would rather tell you that than pretend the number is a secret.
Do you keep my drafts?▾
No. Only a hash of the text, which is what makes a repeat check free. History on the paid plans stores the results, not the draft.
